Admission

Ashok's School is a Catholic Institution run by the Jesuit Fathers. It is a day school for boys from UKG to XII. The School issues application forms for UKG and Std.I on the first working day of November every year. For other classes (if there are vacancies) application will be issued during the last week of April.

Courses

Ashok's School has three streams: ICSE, CBSE and HSE.

ICSE & ISC stream is available for UKG to Std. XII; CBSE, for Std. I to Std.XII and HSE only for Std. XI and Std. XII

ISC (plus-two) - two groups

Science Group (English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology /Computer Science)

Humanities Group (English, Mathematics, Economics, Political Science, Biology/Computer Science)

CBSE (plus-two) - two groups

Biology Group (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

Computer Science Group (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science)

HSE (plus-two) - one group

Science Group (English, Malayalam/Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology)

Uniform

With a view to fostering the sense of equality and unity on the campus, the school insists on the following dress code:

  • Plain white short-sleeved shirt (with the school logo on the top right corner of the pocket), to be tucked in,
  • Plain black shorts for junior boys up to class VII,
  • Plain black trousers for senior boys from class VIII upwards,
  • Footwear must be such that they could be firmly fastened on. Loose slippers are not allowed. Simple canvas shoes of any colour with ankle
    socks are recommended. School uniform is to be worn on all days except School Youth Festival day and the last day of each term.
  • Uniform is compulsory while travelling on the school bus.
  • UKG children can wear colour dress of their choice on ordinary days. However, they should not wear long-sleeved shirts or trousers (i.e., pants, in American English). They need to wear the school uniform on Sports day, School day and on the KG Picnic Day.
  • There is no tie as part of the school uniform.
  • Jeans, low-waist trousers,waist belts with large buckles or grotesque designs on them, do not pass for school uniform. No figures or printed messages are allowed on the uniform. Spiked running-shoes should not be used anywhere but the ground

Ashok's Policy

Ashok's School doesn’t accept capitation fees for admission. If any person approaches any parent offering to secure admission by paying any donation or capitation fee, the matter may please be intimated to the Principal. Parents are advised not to believe anyone who might misrepresent the fact for his own benefit.

Admission, secured on the strength of fake documents or by suppressing material facts, will stand forfeit on detection of the irregularity.

No communication by e-mail or snail mail is normally entertained. The school favours personal enquiry at the office or reference to the notifications displayed on the Notice Board. The school takes no responsibility for any errors in telephonic communication.
